YotoBags - Fashionable.Functional.Fabulous

Now, I'm not a Yogi and I don't practice yoga on daily basis but at times I do attend a class or practice my Surya Namaskar, Sun Salute poses at home. It's a great release and calms my spirit, which if you know me then you know I need to stop and smell the roses sometimes.

So, I've slowed my busy day to tell you about a great new company that creates awesome yoga bags. Yotobags.com creates designer yoga mat tote bags that are Fashionable, Functional and nothing short of Fabulous! Which is what we love!!

The YotoBag is totally new to the yoga gear market because it’s carried upright along the length of the body, versus the traditional horizontal design. The inspiration for the bags is all about function. Upright orientation that handily folds into storage cubicles at yoga studios while also hanging easily in gym lockers, outside pockets large enough to carry sunglasses, cell phone, keys, wallet, etc., an inside zippered pocket for cash, credit card and valuables. All are made with high end cotton and upholstery fabrics; fully lined for easy slippage of yoga mat, and they are all 100% MADE IN THE U.S.A

We love them! It's a must have if you do any type of activity that requires you to use a mat. I've used a mat for my Bay Area Bootcamp classes and now have a bag that I won't have to fight with to get my mat into. You can visit them online at yotobags.com.

A Hot Tip - Setting a proper table

For those of you who love to entertain this is a "must know". Anyone can do it and so can you. It's real easy, the etiquette experts tell us. The general rule with utensils is to start from the outside of your place setting, and work your way toward the service plate (the main meal plate): soup spoon first, then fish knife & fork, then the service knife and fork.

A - Serviette (napkin)
B - Service plate
C - Soup bowl on plate
D - Bread & butter platewith butter knife
E - Water glass
F - White Wine
G - Red Wine
H - Fish Fork
I - Dinner Fork
J - Salad Fork
K - Service Knife
L - Fish Knife
M - Soup Spoon
N - Dessert spoon and cake fork

Note: It is often recommended that the salad fork (J) is placed to the left of the dinner fork (I). However, in this formal setting the dinner fork is placed before the salad fork because it is suggested that the guest waits for the main meal before helping him/herself to the salad.

2007 Wedding Statistics

With wedding season in full swing we thought we'd update you on the scope of weddings for 2007.They don’t call it wedding season for nothing!

While new trends have included a growth in the popularity of fall weddings, especially October (which The Knot refers to as “the new May”), the three most popular wedding months are still August (10.4%), June (10.3%) and July (9.9%).

The $50 billion dollar wedding industry has been aided by a significant increase in per wedding costs since 1990. The Conde Nast Bridal Group reports that the average cost of a wedding today is $27,000, which is almost twice the amount of the average wedding in 1990, which averaged $15,208. Increased details, inflated guest totals and the popularity of theme and destination weddings have all contributed to this cost increase in recent years.
